‘7-Come-11’ Special Set for Wednesday, Aug. 5 at Fonda Speedway as Racing Returns
FONDA, NY – After a two-week break, Fonda Speedway returns to racing for three events in the month of August.
On Wednesday, Aug. 5, the 'Track of Champions' hosts the ’7-Come-11’ special event featuring the Sunoco Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman and Algonkin Motel Pro Stocks.
Moody Mile Motorsports – through Moody Tree Farm and Niederbuhl Bros. LLC – and Dirt Track Digest present this midweek event streamed LIVE exclusively on Dirt Track Digest TV (www.dirttrackdigest.tv).
Grandstands and the Infield Drive-In for this event will be closed per New York State regulations.
Sunoco Modifieds race 30 laps for a minimum of $3,000 to win. Drivers pre-registering for the event will receive an additional $711 in their pay envelope for a total of $3,711.
Drivers can “cash in their chips� and pre-register by e-mailing the speedway at fondaspdwy@gmail.com. There is no cost to register for this event in advance.
Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman (25 laps, $1,000 to win, $100 to start) and Algonkin Motel Pro Stocks (20 laps, $800 to win, $75 to start) complete the tripleheader program.
All events will feature draw for starting positions with a redraw of top qualifiers for the main events. 25 show-up points will be awarded to track regulars attempting to qualify.

Gates will open at 4 p.m. Hot laps get the green flag at 6:30 p.m., with racing at 7:15 p.m.
Pit admission is $35 (Non-Members) and $30 (Members).
Saturday night racing at Fonda is planned for Aug. 1 and Aug. 15, the latter of which will serve as Season Championship Night.
This Saturday (Aug. 1), Sunoco Modifieds race for a fan-increased $3,000 to win plus Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman, Montgomery County Office for Aging Limited Sportsman, Algonkin Motel Pro Stocks, Roberts Towing & Recovery Street Stocks and Four Cylinder Cruisers.
The Aug. 15 program includes all of the aforementioned weekly divisions plus the Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Racing Series.
Saturday events will be broadcast exclusively on Dirt Track Digest. Gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
Since 1953, the ‘Track of Champions’ Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. Under the management of BD Motorsports Media LLC, the speedway will operate weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
